Dr. Xu, who left China in 1988, has unique credentials. As president of the American Traditional Chinese Medicine Society, he is the only physician in the state of Connecticut with three such medical certificates – and perhaps only one of 10 in the nation. He’s a licensed M.D. physician, a board certified rehabilitation medicine doctor, a board certified acupuncturist, and a board certified Chinese herbologist. He has integrated the best of both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine since opening his own clinic, Rehabilitation Medicine and Acupuncture Center, in Greenwich, CT, in 2000.
