Dr. Jun Xu, MD, LAc, is a physician and licensed acupuncturist specializing in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and pain management. He received his training in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Jiangxi College of Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou College of Chinese Medicine in China. He subsequently completed a four-year residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Medical College, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Xu has been practicing Chinese medicine for over 30 years and is affiliated with Stamford Hospital and other leading medical institutions in Connecticut. He established the Rehabilitation Medicine and Acupuncture Center in Riverside, Connecticut, where he provides integrative care combining Western rehabilitation medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Xu has been an active advocate for acupuncture safety and professional standards, serving as a board member and contributor to the American Alliance for Professional Acupuncture Safety (AAPAS).
